To inspire and teach all types of photography

I was born and raised on the prairies of Western Canada. Without the distractions of mountains and oceans, I learned to look at things in a different way, to look for interesting expressions, situations, shapes, patterns, colours, and shadows. These elements can be found anywhere and everywhere: in people, scenery, buildings, plants, and just about anything that can cast a shadow.

Although I have been taking photographs for many years there is always something new to learn. My focus in recent years has been on people and still life, but I also enjoy travel photos when I can get away.
