To inspire and teach all types of photography

Photography to me, is about capturing a special moment
that can never be repeated. It’s about making memories and being able to share those memories. Memories like standing at the edge of the ocean, oblivious to the waves that are crashing around me, memories like scrambling down a steep bank to capture a waterfall that has just the right light. Memories like waking my husband up at 2:00am (because I’m scared of the dark!) to take me into a farmer’s field so that I can photograph the northern lights.

Put a camera in my hands and I’ll brave -30 degree temperatures to capture methane bubbles at Abraham Lake or I’ll wake up at 4:00am while on vacation to capture a perfect sunrise. Every adventure provides me with the opportunity to capture moments that become memories.
