Fall Colours Outing

On September 23, a few members of the Club participated in the Fall Colours Outing in Kananaskis. We left the Highwood Pass parking lot (cold and windy at sunrise) and hiked up the South Pocaterra Ridge Trail where we were treated to sunny skies and light winds and the Larches in their brilliant fall colours.

Although the trail was made a little more challenging in spots due to the recent rain (hiking poles are a definite asset), it was still an enjoyable and extremely picturesque hike and we were rewarded with some excellent photo opportunities.
